Since Donald Trump’s election in 2016, voters from both parties were eager to get out and vote for candidates in one of the wildest election years in recent history. 435 members of the House of Representatives, 35 Senators, 50 Governors, Lieutenant Governors, judges, city council members, state assembly people, and more were up for election. Predictions were made about who would win and how many voters would turn out, but one thing was clear: No one could’ve truly prepared for the results on election night.
Politics suck, but this year’s midterms could be one of the most important votes you cast.

In 2019, Capcom released Resident Evil 2’s remake, a game that is, without a doubt, another classic. Capcom definitely didn’t play it safe for the remake, introducing new areas and changing elements of the game to up the ante on horror.

What does this mean for games and the creative process behind them? It means that the objective of game creation, at least at the AAA level, has changed. Developers have changed their mindset. They are not creating games for the story, to create a new world, or explore the facets of a complex mechanic. Those aspects have taken a backseat to revenue generation.
Fall is the time when all the major publishers release their heavy hitters, and there’s no shortage of them this year. Here’s what we think you should use as a distraction from homework this season:
