Last November, Cogswell’s President & Chief Academic Officer Brian Shepard notified students via email about renaming two departments. Digital Audio Technology (DAT) has now become Audio and Music Technology (AMT) and the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) has become Business, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation (BEI).
Early this November, four teams of students from Cogswell College’s Computer Science Department competed in the regional chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC), an annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world.
After announcing the decision to stop 24-hour access to campus at the beginning of the fall semester, Cogswell College has announced extended hours on weekends, up to 1:00AM, mirroring campus hours on weekdays.
With the start of a new semester, Cogswell ASB hosted their very first school event that gave everyone a chance to go to their dream school: Hogwarts. Everyone interested in attending received an invitation at the Club Fair that was sealed with the Hogwarts crest, and the games began in the Dragon’s Den at 6pm on the 21st of September.
